I have worked in administration in the Health Service for nearly 30 years, currently working in a busy GP Practice. During those years I have listened to the needs of patients with empathy and understanding, a quality I bring to my Reflexology. I qualified as a Reflexologist in 1996 and believe that people should be treated as a whole and that the relaxing art of Reflexology can be truly beneficial in counteracting the effects of many disorders including stress, the main cause of many illnesses today. I am able to offer the service in your own home, in Swansea and surrounding area, with the benefit of familiar surroundings where you can be comfortable and relaxed or alternatively I rent a room on a Thursday afternoon in Crossroads Clinic in Gorseinon, Swansea. http://www.crossroadsclinic.co.uk . Whether you have Reflexology just to be relaxed and pampered or need it to help deal with medical conditions it can be of great benefit and once you try it you will be back for more.
I volunteer one morning a week at http://www.oldmillfoundation.co.uk/ where holistic therapies are offered to people suffering from Cancer and their families, it is a
fantastic place that really makes a difference to people's lives. It is an honour to be part of it!
Recently I have become a Swansea Health Hero for www.worldhealthheroesuk.com this is a company formed by Owen Morgan. It aims to get groups of therapists/heroes in every city in the UK, the aim is to provide Complementary Therapies and lots more free of charge to people who may not have had access or not be able to afford it. Look at the website for more details. It could change the lives of thousands of people and is a very exciting and worthwhile concept.
In my spare time I enjoy singing in a choir, playing the ukelele and photography, all great escapes from busy, modern, everyday life.
